Johnny Torres, BSN, RN, CNOR
I am a Certified PeriOperative Registered Nurse. A Graduate of University of Miami School of nursing (2006) and I work in South Florida at one of the larger health systems. I have been a member of AORN South Florida chapter 1004 for six years and took advantage of becoming a lifetime member. I am also a Lifetime member of the Emergency Nurses Association. Apart from my love for the OR, I enjoy cycling and make this a weekly pastime.
Since joining AORN South Florida Chapter 1004, I have served on the Nominating Committee, Board of Directors, Vice President and currently President Elect. I look forward to growing in my profession and leading the Chapter in 2023. I encourage you to become active in the AORN South Florida 1004 Chapter and look forward to meeting and greeting you on a personal basis.

Natalie Jones DHA, MBA, BHA, BSN, RN, CNOR
Greetings and Welcome to the AORN South Florida Chapter #1004 website. My name is Dr. Natalie Jones, and it is my pleasure to greet you! I am a health care leader with over 35+ years of committed service as a Registered Nurse, PeriOperative Director, and Administrator. My interests include mentoring new leaders, staff development, patient safety, and supporting periOperative teams in promoting quality standards with evidencebased outcomes. In my current position as the Director of PeriOperative Services and Nurse Consultant at NBJ Healthcare Consulting and Management Company, I enjoy the opportunity to successfully lead and direct patient care services.
As a member of AORN South Florida Chapter #1004, I served as President, President-Elect, and Board Member from (2005-Present) as Treasurer (2020-2023) and I currently serve as Vice President (2023-2024). Member of the AORN National Nominating Committee and Board of Directors for the Florida Council of periOperative Registered Nurses.
My involvement in the South Florida Chapter has been rewarding and sensational on a professional and personal level. I invite you to join our chapter and participate in the many opportunities to serve and enhance the PeriOperative profession. You can make a difference!

I am a Certified PeriOperative Registered Nurse with over 30 years Operating Room experience of circulating, scrubbing, and mentoring PeriOperative Nurses. Teaching the AORN PeriOp-101 program to novice and graduate nurses during tenure at several leading hospitals and University environments in South Florida has been a very fulfilling contribution to my profession. Chapter involvement in my professional organization has rendered many networking opportunities, continuing education credits by a CEU provider, and furthermore awarded me the honor to represent my Chapter as a Delegate during the AORN Global and Surgical Conference and Expo. I look forward to meeting you at our next chapter event and continuing to serve and support my periOperative community

I have been a member of AORN of South Florida, Chapter 1004, for many years. I have been really involved, holding different positions over the years. Most significantly, I have been President several times. In this current year 2022 - 2023, I am the Secretary. I have also been in involved in Florida Council of Peri-operative Nurses, having been the Chair twice. I would like to encourage our members to get involved in our local Chapter. We are looking for some new faces to help us carry out our mission of our Association.

Paige B. Joseph MSN, BSN, RN, CNOR
I am a Certified PeriOperative Registered Nurse with over 41 years Operating Room experience in Administrative, Educational, circulating, scrubbing and mentoring of periOperative nurses and staff at several of the major South Florida hospitals. Administered all business office functions at two major South Florida hospitals. Both offices were successful in capturing lost revenue and increased profits for the hospitals. Taught periOp -101 at several of the major South Florida hospitals with good results. As an Adjunct Professor used my operating room knowledge to engage my clinical students giving them the opportunity to make solid speciality choices. I have had the opportunity to serve the South Florida Chapter 1004 as past President, the Board of Directors and Nominating committee. It has been a pleasure for me to serve and and I am thankful for the opportunity to continue to serve and to grow. We welcome nurses and Industry Partners to join our organization as you get opportunities to grow in your professional as well as your personal life through networking and education. My nursing career began over 16 years ago and the operating room quickly became my home. Currently, working as an operating room coordinator, my experience includes roles as a pre-op nurse, circulator, scrub, charge and manager. I am thankful to have this opportunity to work, learn and grow with this group!

TANNER FREE, CNOR
My name is Tanner Free, and I am a CNOR certified Operating room nurse with
10 years' experience in the operating room. I have a diverse background in the
OR with experience as a circulator nurse, scrub nurse, and nurse practitioner
first assist. I have worked in a variety of different specialties, including
neurosurgery, trauma surgery, and open-heart surgery. I began my nursing
journey at Ivy Tech Community College, where I earned my associate degree in
nursing before pursuing further education at Indiana University, where I obtained my bachelor's degree in nursing. Finally, I continued my academic pursuits at Valparaiso University, where I earned my Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP). Beyond the operating room, I'm a lifelong learner and a mentor to aspiring healthcare professionals. I am committed to remaining up to date on the latest advancements in surgical practice and enjoy sharing knowledge with the next generation of nurses. I am excited to join AORN South Florida Chapter 1004 as a member of the nominating committee.

STEPHANIE SANTANA, BSN, RN, CNOR
I am a passionate nurse, dedicating myself to providing the best patient care
everywhere I go. After working in critical care I moved to surgery and fell in love
with the specialty. I began my journey in the OR as a circulator and I am currently a nurse educator for perioperative services. I joined the AORN South Florida chapter because I have a strong desire to continue learning and improving within the nursing profession and this chapter will help me achieve that. I am excited to be part of the team and look forward to meeting more
